Beer Tasting – 24 November 2007
London to Paris Bike Ride – Joint fundraising event for NCSF, The National Autistic Society, Asthma UK & CHILDREN with LEUKEMIA.
The Beer Tasting evening was a great success and raised nearly £2,000 for the joint charities. Held at the Wellington Pub in a Beer Tent with Beer Tasting Competition and Ploughman’s supper was enjoyed by all. Many thanks to the Gunters for organising the event and to all those that donated beer, Raffle prizes and auction items.

Craft Stall
Thursday, 8th November 2007, NHS Bristol
Raised £98 from a pre-Christmas craft stall at the NHS offices in Bristol. Many thanks to the NHS for letting us be there and to Mary, Carole, Margaret, Claire and Ken for helping out. |

Manor Farm Caravan Site - Seaton, Devon

Tim and Mandy have very generously given us a cheque for £319.75 as a donation. This is instead of sending cards to all their clients on the caravan site.

Bristol Half-Marathon
Sunday 9th September 2007
Thank you to Sally, Julie, Dave, Stacey, Gail, Laura, Laura and Tara for running the half marathon yesterday and raising money for our Charity. Everyone seemed to enjoy it and got round in one piece!

Head Shave - August 2007
The New Cumberland Club, Hull
Many thanks to Derek, Donald, Phil and John for raising a fantastic £700 by having head shaves. This was held at The New Cumberland Club, Hull owned by Steve Gore, who kindly let Daz put on this event.
A special thanks to Daz for organising this event who said afterwards "we partied for about 5-6 hours, great day!!" |

Cream Teas
19th July 2007
A Cream teas afternoon was held at Carol's house which made £217. Thanks to Carol for the use of her house, the weather was good so we were able to sit out side for most of the afternoon before the rain. And big thank you to everyone who provided a cake and to all the helpers not to mention all those that scoffed all those cakes - wish I had been there!! |

Air Balloon Infants School Fair - Crafts Stall
This was an excellent School Fair on a rare fine sunny day. We had our usual craft stall selling jewellery, additive free preserves, key-rings, scarves and many other things. Thanks to Sharon who organised the event and to Mary, Jane and Wendy for helping. Also thanks to Phoebe, Henry, Georgie and Ella for helping with the dolls clothes. |

Chepstow Races
Thanks to Ben Gunter and Jude King who took the opportunity to raise money at the Chepstow Races! They and their 12 friends jumped the fence and ran around the main parade ring raising £105 in the process! Well done to all. |

Pamper Night
Wendy Gillard held a Pamper night in her home that raised £120 for the Charity. Many thanks to Lesley, Mary and Julie for doing the pampering and to all those who supported the evening. |

Daz Night
Saturday, 2nd June 2007
This was held at the Bradley Stoke Activity Centre and good time seemed to be had by all thanks to the magnificent show that Daz put on. Highly recommended if you get a chance to go and see him. We raised over £600 for the Charity many thanks to all those that helped with the organisation especially Lindsay, Claire and Kath.

Jackson's Headshave
Jackson is 9 years old & in year 4 at Ashley Down Junior School, this was
his own idea to raise some money for NCSF. His efforts raised well over £500 for the Charity - many thanks to Helen for letting him to it and for organising the sponsorship.

BBS Group - Charity Night
Our largest single donation to date £7,560 was from the BSS Group who held a Charity rugby dinner, many thanks to James Gaby who organised the event.
It was held in the Grosvenor Hotel in London, when as well as dinner there was a number of celebrity speeches and a huge auction of rugby memorabilia. The money raised was divided between the NCSF and the Rainbow Trust.
This money will make a serious contribution towards many of our projects but in particular the Refurbishment of the Patients Dayroom in the Bristol Oncology Centre.

The patrons of the Kingswood local collected a most welcome £50.20 in one of our collecting boxes. Many thanks to Keith for putting the box on the bar.
